Baaltje Bokhout, born on 22 Sep 1888, she died on 9 May 1978. On 9 Nov 1911,
she married with Dingeman
Snel, born 11 Jul 1882, he died on 13 Feb 1973. Up until their late
80's, they lived in their small labourer's house in Piershil.

Marinus Bokhout, born on 15 Dec 1853. On 14 May 1886, he married with Maria Verhagen,
born in 1864, she died on 29 Januari
1953. They had 12 children.

Abraham Bokhout, born on 31 Dec 1813. On 6 Mar
1837, he married (1) with Teuna Trouw, born on 22 Mar 1816, she died on 25 Nov 1841.
They had 3 children, amongst which Maartje, who married Arie
Snel. On 21 Jan 1853, he married (2) Willempje van
der Zijden, born on 13 Jan 1828, she died on 1 Aug 1896. According to family
legend, she posessed magic powers. Marinus (nr. 2) was born from this marriage.

Gerrit Bokhout, born on 3 Oct 1784, he died on14 Aug 1863. He married
with Maartje Buytendijk, born about 1787, she died on 2 Nov 1858.

Abraham Pieters Bokhout, baptised on 26 Apr 1739, he died on 19 Oct 1817.
In 1763, he married (1) with Maayke Bos, who died half a year later. Another
half year later, he re-married (2) with Hendrina Goudswaart, she died on 23 Apr 1773.
On 8 May 1774, he married (3) with Maria
Kant, baptised on 5 Mar 1749, she died on 28 Jun 1806. Gerrit (nr. 4) was
born from this third marriage.

Pieter Willemzn Boekhout died on 11 Jul 1763. On 26 Oct 1732, he married
with Jannigje Izaacsdr
Slings, baptised on 12 Aug 1703, she died on 29 May 1752. This family
still lives in Piershil, they had 9 children.

Willem Hermenszn Boeckhout died before 6 Feb 1728. On 16 Aug 1680, he
publishes the banns (1) with Teuntje Andriesdr Valkenburg. In 1723, he
re-marries (2) with Lena Ariens Lopiker. Pieter (nr. 6) was one of the 4
children of the first marriage.

Hermen Pieterszn Bockholt. He stands bail for L. P. Radesteijn at an
auction in 1662, in 's-Gravendeel.

The first generations were found by ourselves. The older ones are
based on a letter of Bram van der Hoeven from Gouda, which can be seen at the
archive of Heinenoord, supplemented with information from Piet Molema/Willeke Smitshoek
and Leen Verseyden. Naturally, the information has been double checked by us.
